This would be illegal behavior for a debt collector. They have a "voliolators" number you are required to call and all the language they use is aggressive and threatening. Ctrma has created an impossible financial burden for me to overcome and is forcing me to break the law. I'm living on disability and have to pick and choose what bills to pay as it is. The actual total of my toll charges is only around 300 but because they never sent a bill I I owe 8k. Worse part is they told me "well you can use the tolls free but first there are steps you have to take and you have to get a txtag first and we won't let you start doing that until you have no balance".

So now not only can I not renew my registration, but I can't follow the law and get updated handicap plates, I can't renew or update the address on my driver's license. THEY NEVER SENT ME A BILL, THEY STILL HAVENT. I call ctrma and SURPRISE there are 6 accounts totalling more than 8k dollars and they won't even consider removing the hold unless I pay half. I ask the dmv, that odd, I've never received a bill how do I remove this? I'm told only the person placing the hold can remove it. The hold is from a toll company in Texas called Central Texas Regional Mobile Authority.

However, I went to register my vehicle a week before registration was due and found out SURPRISE there is a hold on your registration. It's this way with every single toll company.
I get a bill, I call and tell them look at the pictures I have DV tags.
I've lived at the same address for a decade.
I received a bill for 300 dollars for a1.50 bill every thing after the 1.50 was late fees but I never received the original 1.50 bill I tried telling them I had just bought a new car that my other cars all had the tag but when ever I got on line I couldn’t purchase one for my new car they said it’s because you have to pay the 300 first before we can issue you a tag I said will I shouldn’t owe you anything because I was always taken 20 dollars out of my bank account when I would only use the toll once a month so you should have penlty of money left for that 1.50 you said I owed but no now I owe 748.82 and most of it is nothing but late fees so I’m asking what happened to the money they were taking out of my bank account and the taxes I pay for building new roads why am I paying double and I’m disabled and have a tag of disability why do I have to pay I’m very upset because they are robbing us and there’s nothing we can do about it but pay also they say I used the toll more than 219 times I don’t even go out anywhere.
